About Martin Hyde
Martin Hyde was born and raised in Farnborough, Hampshire. From childhood, he has lived two lives. In his second, he escapes to the infinite realms of the imagination, traversing the paths that lead to mortality, consciousness, and the darkest corners of the human condition. He attempts to document his mind’s wanderings through his primarily horror/thriller rooted fiction. His greatest influences are of course, Stephen King, Scott Sigler, Edgar Allan Poe, and Lemony Snicket. Some of his favourite novels include Stephen King’s Pet Sematary and IT, Iain Banks’ The Wasp Factory, Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights, and Cormac McCarthy’s The Road.
His own novella, Haunted Ltd. is available now on Kindle, and his upcoming debut novel, Judgement Day will be released in 2018. He currently resides in Newcastle upon Tyne, where he is vehemently pursuing a career in the literary industry. For more frequent ramblings from the other side, follow him on social media:
